This year, the Balboa invites you to the BALBOA CHRISTMAS HALLOWEEN MOVIE MARATHON.
Join us any time that evening for the low, low price of $13 as four different programmer select one of their favorite horror gems and we run them back to back throughout the night. You won’t know what we’re playing until it’s being announced in the theater, but we can guarantee that all of the films are (a) pre-20th century, (b) never screened in the Bay Area (at least in the past five years), and (c) have one curator on our team who think it’s sick as hell. Along with that, we’ll have hot chocolate, candy canes and special prizes for a mid-way point costume contest for anyone who wants to dress up! Whether you join for one or stay for all, come with friends or alone, we guarantee your Saturday at the Balboa will be a night of pure, sugar high, blood soaked movie adrenaline.
