THE BALBOA PLAN

Step One: Create a cherished cult comedy television series in your hometown Toronto with your best friend that runs for two seasons in 2017 and 2018.

Step Two: After a long hiatus, return with a movie continuation in 2026 that quickly becomes one of the most critically acclaimed movies of the the year and one of the most beloved comedies of the past decade.

Step Three: Produce a 35mm print of said movie via Neon, and give them the screening rights to the entire TV series. Which would allow the Balboa Theatre in San Francisco to put together a weekend long festival that finally lets newcomers and old-timers alike unite to watch and celebrate the totality of the masterfully anarchic and generationally hysterical work that is Nirvanna the Band the Show.

Step Four: PLAY THE RIVOLI!
